Effective Wednesday, July 22nd, face coverings will be required when inside any KU-owned building/facility for all visitors, as well as staff, to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The current guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends the wearing of face coverings to slow the spread of COVID-19. Face coverings prevent the person wearing the mask from spreading respiratory droplets when talking, sneezing, or coughing. COVID-19 can be spread by people who do not have symptoms and do not know that they are infected. That’s why it’s important for everyone to wear face coverings.
