SCAM ALERT – We have been made aware of a phone scam requesting immediate payment due to a billing error and if payment is not made, the customer will be disconnected. This is a scam! Kaukauna Utilities will never ask customers to make an immediate payment over the phone to avoid disconnection. Those who receive the call should not provide any personal or banking information!
KU has procedures in place to notify customers of past-due charges. We mail letters to residents or business owners with the past-due balance and the steps they can take to avoid an interruption in electric service. We make every effort to work with our customers on payment arrangements – all they have to do is give us a call.
