Sales tax is charged on the electric portion of residential utility bills from May 1 through October 31. You will see sales tax reflected on this bill. Also, if you are a City of Kaukauna sewer customer, Seasonal Sewer Adjustment is in effect with this bill. As per City ordinance, sewer consumption billed between May 1 and September 30 is capped at 120% of your average water use during the previous winter months.
