Kaukauna Utilities (KU) is excited to announce a community open house to engage with their valued customers and provide insights into potential enhancements to the water system and shed light on aging water infrastructure.
The open house is scheduled for Tuesday, April 16th from 3:30pm – 6:00pm at the water filter plant, located at 304 Elm Street, Kaukauna. KU staff will be available to answer questions and offer a firsthand look at the intricate water filtration process that ensures the delivery of safe and high-quality water.
“We believe in transparency and collaboration with our community,” said Michael Avanzi, Kaukauna Utilities General Manager. “This open house is an opportunity for us to connect with our customers, address their questions and concerns, and showcase the efforts we are making to enhance our water infrastructure.”
Community members will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and considerations involved in maintaining and upgrading the water system to meet the growing needs of the community.
Water Taste Test
Attendees will also be able to partake in a water taste test. Explore a diverse range of water samples sourced from various locations and filtration processes, including reverse osmosis, ion exchange, and more. This educational activity aims to not only engage the community in discussions about water quality but also to highlight the subtle differences of each water source.
