This month’s messages include:
Utility services may be interrupted by unanticipated events like storms. To ensure your safety and keep you informed during emergencies, please update your contact information with us. This allows KU to notify you of outages, updates, and restoration time for electric and Kaukauna water services. Remember to have an emergency kit ready, including essentials like a flashlight, batteries, and water.
Did you know Kaukauna Utilities offers great incentives for our residential customers, including ENERGY STAR appliances and battery-powered yard equipment rebates? To save money and improve comfort, have your central air conditioner professionally tuned-up and receive a $25 bill credit. Regular AC tune-ups can enhance efficiency, lower electric bills, and extend equipment life. Visit our website – https://www.kaukaunautilities.com/residential/incentive-programs/ – or call our Energy Services Manager – 920-462-0251 – to learn more.
At their May 2024 meeting, the KU Commission voted unanimously to enhance the city’s water treatment with state-of-the-art water treatment plants employing reverse osmosis or nanofiltration technology. This upgrade will significantly reduce water hardness, improving water quality and extending the lifespan of appliances. The project kicks off this summer with engineering design and permitting. Anticipated completion is fall of 2028. Visit our website for further details on this project.
